The Office of Work, Life and Engagement supports the Johns Hopkins Student Assistance Program and encourages everyone to support its upcoming American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Out of the Darkness Campus Walk to raise awareness and money for depression and suicide prevention. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 22. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m.
Faculty, staff, students, and their families and friends are invited to participate by walking and/or raising funds.
By participating in the Johns Hopkins University Campus Walk, you will be walking with thousands of individuals to raise money for AFSP's important research and education programs to prevent suicide and save lives.
The 3-plus-mile walk to Patterson Park and back will start at the School of Nursing on the East Baltimore campus. To register or to make a donation, visit the Johns Hopkins Student Assistance Program website and select the walk in the Events box before Friday, April 21.
