Celebrate Dr. Seuss by reading to Baltimore City students

To honor Dr. Seuss' birthday and the impact that his work has made on early reading, the Johns Hopkins Takes Time for Schools program joins United Way of Central Maryland to celebrate Read Across America Day in several Baltimore City elementary schools. Volunteers will read The Cat in the Hat and lead a fun activity to get young students excited about reading.

Register online soon for the March 2 event, as spots will fill fast. Note: Johns Hopkins volunteers must register for the participating Baltimore City Public Schools only.
