Are you sometimes unable to recall what you had eaten for dinner an hour earlier? Can you eat several servings of a snack without realizing it? By paying attention to the tastes, the smells, and the textures of food, we can take time to enjoy the present moment and begin the journey of living a more mindful life. Join WorkLife staff to learn strategies that you can use to add mindful eating to your everyday life. Participants should bring their lunch.
The noon to 1 p.m. workshop, called Mindfulness in Everyday Life: Focus on Eating, will be given twice: on Thursday, Nov. 10, in East Baltimore, and on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at Keswick. The Johns Hopkins Shuttle makes frequent runs between campuses.
Register online or call 443-997-7000. For information about other upcoming workshops and programs, visit the WorkLife website.
