Once you have made your choices for your 2017 benefits and are ready to enroll, follow these simple steps:
Have your JHED ID, the Social Security numbers and birth dates of your dependents, and the names and birth dates of your beneficiaries handy.
Visit the JHU Benefits website.
Click the "myChoices" tab to get started.
Confirm that your Health & Life elections, personal information, and beneficiaries are correct.
Click "I Accept" to verify your elections for 2017.
Once you have enrolled, you should print a copy of your confirmation statement for your records.
Remember, if you fail to enroll between Oct. 21 and Nov. 8, your current options will carry over into 2017 with the new rates that are effective Jan. 1, 2017. Your flexible spending account elections, however, will not carry over unless you actively enroll.
