If you have an interest in Chinese healing modalities or are looking for new tools to improve health and longevity, mark your calendar for a new Work, Life and Engagement lunchtime workshop called Introduction to Qigong.
Qigong is an internal martial art that has been shown to improve balance, agility, cognition, and equanimity while improving energy and mood. Mindfulness is a key component of the practice.
No experience is necessary, and movements are easy to follow. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
The workshop will take place from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, on the Homewood campus. Weather permitting, the session will be outside. Register online or call 443-997-7000.
