If you're anything like the other 55,700-plus employees who work for Johns Hopkins worldwide, you probably think of summer as a time to recharge, whether you're heading off somewhere exotic or just melting down (in a good way, of course) at home.

The Huffington Post recently turned to Michelle Carlstrom, senior director of Johns Hopkins' Office of Work, Life and Engagement, for some expert advice on how to leave the office behind so that you can get the vacation you deserve.
