University faculty and staff can tour the Weinberg Y Preschool at East 33rd Street, meet the center staff, and place their child's name on a waitlist at an open house being held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26. Parents also can learn about:
+ The university's Dependent Care Voucher Program, which provides up to $5,000 in subsidy to eligible employees who must pay caregiver expenses in order to work.
+ Safety-net services by Care.com, which provides in-home sick, emergency, or backup care at a reduced cost for eligible faculty and staff.
