The Excel Youth Conference, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22, on the Homewood campus, is a one-day event for promising Baltimore-area high school students in grades 9 to 11, and their families, to learn more about the college student experience and connect with Hopkins faculty, students, and staff. Whether you're the first in your family to attend college or you have questions about financial aid, the conference will provide answers and information on all parts of the application process. Although a college experience at Hopkins may not be the best match for everyone, we strive to ensure that all academically qualified students, regardless of family background, understand that a world-class education at an institution like ours is affordable and within reach. This is especially true for the talented students right here in our own backyard.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions invites faculty and staff to attend the conference. Please direct local students and families to the Excel Youth Conference website for more information and to register. They may also want to read last year's article about the conference.
