New Blue Jays, more than 1,300 of them, crowded onto Keyser Quad on Wednesday afternoon and formed the letters and numbers that make up their class—JHU '22—for the annual Hopkins class photo.

Despite the heat, it was a great opportunity to make last-minute introductions and bond with new friends before the start of classes today.

Way to shape up, Blue Jays! The day before the start of their first semester, #JHU2022 gathered on Keyser Quad on the university's Homewood campus for the annual class photo.  📸 

The class photo was followed by a picnic on the Homewood House lawn, and later by convocation, the formal welcoming of the Class of 2022 by the administration.
