Stuff to do

Weekend picks: Johns Hopkins events roundup for Sept. 8-10

There are lots of things to do this weekend. These are some of our favorites.

Summer is over (sad face).

But we're back!

Last school year, the Hub started Weekend Picks to let you know what's going on at JHU. Each week we'll give you our recommendations for what to do or which events to attend. We try to pick something for everyone, but you can always check out the Hub calendar for the full list of events.

So put down that remote controlling your Netflix binge and get out and enjoy all that Johns Hopkins has to offer.

A GOOD CAUSE

The Color Run FT5K
Sunday, 11 a.m. | The Beach
The Hop and Dance Marathon co-host this annual 5K run in support of Johns Hopkins Children's Center. While running and throwing colored powder, you'll be supporting a cause that's close to home. There will also be an opportunity to meet some of the center's very own Miracle Kids.

ARTS + CULTURE

ATHLETICS

Blue Jay Opening Day

This new JHU tradition helps the campus kick off the school year and the beginning of the Hopkins football season. There will be inflatables, tailgate food, music, a photo booth, giveaways, and more. LEARN SOMETHING NEW

Introduction to the Audio Studio
