Three programs at Johns Hopkins University are included among the new U.S. News & World Report rankings of degree-granting online programs, which were revealed today.
Johns Hopkins' online nursing program moved up a spot from last year to a tie for the No. 5 spot. JHU's School of Nursing, home to the top-ranked nursing graduate program in the country according to U.S. News rankings released in the spring, offers three online master's programs and two online post-degree options.
Additionally, Johns Hopkins' online computer information technology program is ranked No. 6, and the online engineering program is ranked No. 21. Both programs are offered by JHU's Whiting School of Engineering.
U.S. News ranks the nation's best online graduate programs in seven disciplines, as well as the best online bachelor's programs. Rankings are determined by five weighted criteria: student engagement, faculty credentials and training, student services and technology, peer reputation, and admissions selectivity.
