Johns Hopkins Dance Marathon raises more than $12,000 for Children's Center

One-hundred fifty six participants danced for eight hours Saturday night and into Sunday morning at the third annual Johns Hopkins Dance Marathon, raising $12,562.25 for the Johns Hopkins Children's Center. That's approximately 16.8 cents per dancer per minute, in case you were curious (and we have a hunch some of you were).

The donation period remains open through April 6 at helpmakemiracles.org for those wishing to contribute.

Last year, 146 participants raised $11,000 (or roughly 15.7 cents per dancer per minute) for the Children's Center.
