Moved by the spirit of the season, we at the Hub set out to assemble a video collection of holiday favorites performed by Johns Hopkins a cappella groups over the years. What festive finds awaited us, we wondered—a rousing rendition of "Good King Wenceslas," perchance? A perfectly playful "Baby, It's Cold Outside" exchange? A harmonically pristine "pa rum pum pum pum"?
Turns out, none of the above.
We did find three JHU a cappella holiday tunes (though we were tempted to include the JHU Sirens performance of "Winter Song" and the AllNighters singing "Colder Weather"). Today, we bring you the first of those three, the AllNighters performing "Silent Night"at the 2008 winter concert.
Enjoy.
