The Class of 2016, more than 1,300 strong, arrived last week on the Homewood campus, where the new students were greeted by a contingent of upperclassmen and other volunteers waiting to help move their belongings into the residence halls and begin getting acclimated to college life.
The new undergraduates moved in on Wednesday and Thursday. They were invited to take part in orientation and other activities over the weekend, including the semi-formal Blue Jay Ball on Friday night, a comedy show featuring comedian and actor Andrew Schulz on Saturday and the all-class photo on Sunday.
