As head of international consulting firm Korn Ferry's Chicago office and its hospitality and leisure division, Radhika Papandreou, A&S '98, knows the importance of relating to co-workers from all generations. She brought her expertise to the 2024 Women of Hopkins Conference, leading two sessions of a workshop called "Beyond the Generational Divide: Empowerment Through Intergenerational Learning and Synergy." Using a series of exercises and conversations, Papandreou taught women of all ages how to cultivate a more generationally diverse network. Together, attendees discussed how professional relationships are impacted by hybrid work and how to understand the needs of people from different generations.
Papandreou says, "Somebody from Gen X would talk about their experience, and then somebody from Gen Z would talk about theirs. It was impactful to get different perspectives."
