Behind the scenes

Goucher undergraduate Maria Kyriakakos and Hopkins undergraduates Debbie Kim, Andrea White, and Michael Harper examine artworks from the Baltimore Museum of Art's collection. They are working with Jennifer Kingsley, director of JHU's Program in Museums and Society, and Kevin Tervala, BMA associate curator of African art, to mount an exhibition with the working title "African Art and the Matrilineage," which opens April 5, 2020, at the BMA. This is the most recent collaborative project between the BMA and Museums and Society.
