Johns Hopkins Family Weekend brings hundreds to Homewood

The annual tradition included performances from student groups, campus tours, and a field hockey game

Parents, siblings, and other family members flocked to Johns Hopkins University's Homewood campus this past weekend to be a part of the university's annual Family Weekend.

This year's festivities included a celebratory reception, walking tours, a field hockey game, and student performances from Witness Theater, the JHU Pep Band, and the university's a cappella groups. Visitors also heard from JHU President Ron Daniels, who shared updates on major projects and initiatives in progress at Hopkins.

The weekend featured a special event for first-generation, limited income (FLI) families, who were able to connect with one another and learn more about the resources and services available to their students.
