Hundreds of new Blue Jays arrive on move-in day for first-year students

Incoming first-year students moved into campus housing on Sunday, marking the beginning of New Student Orientation at Hopkins

The Homewood and Peabody campuses were filled with activity and moving boxes Sunday as Johns Hopkins University officially welcomed the Class of 2028 for First-Year Student Move-In Day.

This year's incoming class, numbering about 1,300 students, hails from 46 states, 35 countries, three territories, and Washington, D.C., with more than 20% identifying as first-generation college students. To all of JHU's new Blue Jays: Welcome, and have fun during Orientation Week!
