Say freeze! Johns Hopkins Ice Rink at Homewood is open

The ice rink made its highly anticipated return to the Homewood campus this past weekend and with it came something Baltimore hadn't seen since the rink's debut season: snow. Students, faculty, staff, and their families flaked out on the ice Sunday as the snow fell, and snow or no, they'll have plenty of chances to lace up again through Feb. 25.

Weekdays at the rink are reserved for the Hopkins community and weekends provide access to the local Baltimore community. The rink and rental skates are free for all participants; skaters should register in advance for a 90-minute skate session. Information on special theme nights, waiver information, and more is available on the ice rink website.

See you on the ice!
