Infinite ways to bring pi to life

Several Vivien Thomas Scholars visit students at the Henderson-Hopkins school to celebrate Pi Day

On Tuesday, in celebration of Pi Day, Vivien Thomas Scholars from Johns Hopkins visited with students at the Henderson-Hopkins School in East Baltimore to marvel at the wonders of pi—the infinite mathematical constant. With activities including bubble-blowing contests and making a human circle, the scholars and students enjoyed a fun afternoon of bringing math to life.
