Annual Holi festival ushers in a bright and colorful spring

The Johns Hopkins Hindu Students Council hosted its annual Holi festival this past weekend. An ancient Hindu tradition, the festival has religious and cultural significance in India: it ushers in spring at the close of the harvest season, and celebrates the triumph of the Hindu god Vishnu over evil.
