In a show of support for Ukraine and its citizens, the Johns Hopkins community held a vigil on Saturday, March 5, led by the parish priest at St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church in Baltimore. Attendees were given sunflowers, Ukraine's national flower, and came together to sing the Ukrainian national anthem and listen to speakers from the local Ukrainian community.
Sponsors for the vigil included the Student Assembly at the Bloomberg School of Public Health, the Graduate Representative Organization, the Student Government Association, the School of Nursing PhD Students Organization, and Graduate Student Association at the School of Medicine.
