Students welcome their parents, grandparents, and siblings to campus for the university's annual Family Weekend

There were a whole lot of hugs and happy faces on the Homewood campus this past weekend as the university hosted its annual Family Weekend.
The tradition resumed as an in-person experience this year, with limited capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions, giving Blue Jay families a chance to reconnect and meet other Hopkins families while enjoying access to the campus community and facilities. Events included a historical campus walking tour, a showcase of five short plays starring first-year students in the Barnstormers, an address by President Ron Daniels, a mixer, performances by a cappella groups and Hopkins Symphony Orchestra, and a painting class.
