Edible Books Festival takes place virtually this weekend, voting in the literary bake-off is open until Sunday afternoon

The Sheridan Libraries Edible Book Festival, now in its eighth year, is a highly anticipated Johns Hopkins tradition that celebrates books, art, food, and culture. For the festival, desserts are inspired by literary titles, characters, or authors, and contestants are encouraged to combine wordplay with their compositions, either through their titles, decoration, or ingredients.

This year, the festival will take place virtually, with contestants crafting their desserts at home and submitting photos and videos of their creations for online voting. Below are the 2021 entries. Voting is open online until Sunday at 3 p.m., at which time the winners will be announced.
