Love Data Week | Tote-ally Data

Description
Join Jenna Frye (senior lecturer, Center for Leadership Education) and Pete Lawson (data and visualization librarian, Data Services) for an in-person, hands-on, creative data workshop for Love Data Week. In this session, you'll explore the twin themes of luck and love, just in time for Friday the 13th and Valentine's Day week, by answering a series of playful questions and turning your responses into a one-of-a-kind data visualization.
Instead of charts on a screen, you'll visualize your data using iron-on decals, arranging them to tell your own story on a tote bag you'll design and take home. No prior data or design experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore patterns in your everyday life.
