Introduction to ArcGIS: Getting Started with ArcGIS Pro
Description
This Johns Hopkins Data Services 90-minute workshop is designed for anyone new to geographic data or mapmaking. You will get a guided introduction to ArcGIS Pro, the most widely used geographic information system (GIS) software. Learn how to navigate the software, explore data, and create a simple map from start to finish. No prior GIS experience required.
Data Services recommends that participants install ArcGIS Pro before the workshop so that they can follow along with the hands-on exercises. Otherwise, you will be able to watch the demonstration but not actively participate. Please refer to the Esri Software Access guide to download and install ArcGIS Pro.
