Andre Nussenzweig, a National Institutes of Health distinguished investigator at the National Cancer Institute, will give the 2025 Roger L. McMacken Jr. Lecture titled "Genome Stability in Mitotic and Post-Mitotic Cells" for the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) Department.

This lecture series honors McMacken's legacy in the BMB Department. In his over 40 years at the school, McMacken touched the professional and academic lives of scores of students, faculty, and trainees. His talent for teaching, research, and guidance helped make BMB the department it is today.
