Description

Depression occurs in people of all genders, ages and backgrounds. It's among the leading causes of disability worldwide and affects about 121 million people.

Join CCA supporting the Johns Hopkins Employee Assistance Program (JHEAP) for this seminar that will provide tools for managers to recognize symptoms of depression and offer guidance on referring employees to internal and community resources for managing depression.

Participants will also learn how to approach employees who might be struggling and encourage them to seek professional assistance for symptoms.

What is JHEAP? JHU employees and their household members have 24/7 access to free, confidential consultation, counseling and referrals for challenges such as stress at work or at home, emotional distress, navigating change and uncertainty, and so much more. Access JHEAP Manager Resources.
