Description

The Writing Center is offering support for all Krieger School of Arts & Sciences and Whiting School of Engineering graduate students who are writing dissertations this year.

Workshop 1: From Research to Road Map: Developing Your Thesis and Outline

Be part of an interactive workshop designed to help you clarify your central argument and develop it into a flexible outline that guides writing and revision. You'll experiment with strategies for shaping your ideas and leave with practical tools you can use in your current and future projects.

Workshop 2: Productivity and Well-Being in the Graduate Writing Process

Join a supportive conversation about the realities of graduate writing—the isolation, pressure, and progress that come with it—and learn strategies to sustain your focus, confidence, and well-being throughout your program.

Focused Writing Time

Stay to write in a quiet, supportive environment, put your new strategies into practice, and make tangible progress on your own writing.
