Description

In this interactive virtual session, participants will explore how to use the Career Navigator tool within myCareer to envision and plan their professional growth at Johns Hopkins University. Building on previous myCareer modules, this session guides staff through future-focused reflection, role exploration, and strategic development planning. Participants will learn how to identify potential career paths, assess skill alignment, and connect with others across the institution to support their career journey.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Navigate the Career Navigator tool to explore roles, pathways, and job families
• Discover potential career directions within Johns Hopkins over the next five years
• Assess alignment between current skills and future roles using skill analysis features
• Apply filters and search strategies to explore internal opportunities
• Identify next steps for development planning
