Description

Johns Hopkins East Baltimore Community & Connection Strolls is a welcoming, inclusive program designed to foster social connection, well-being, and a sense of belonging among Johns Hopkins affiliates.

These 20- to 30-minute strolls around Eager Park in East Baltimore combine movement with meaningful conversation around engaging topics or questions. Whether you are looking to de-stress, meet new people, or simply enjoy a break in your day, all modes of participation are welcome—walkers, wheelchairs, strollers, or seated persons. Join in to move toward community, connection, and wellness on the Johns Hopkins East Baltimore campus.

Strolls are from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. and led by Carol Spencer of Health Promotion and Well-Being. There is no experience nor fitness level necessary—all are welcome. Walks will still happen in drizzle and light rain, so please dress appropriately or bring an umbrella. If there is inclement weather (moderate rain and/or snow), meet in the 2024 Building atrium (2024 E. Monument St.).

Email Carol Spencer at cspenc29@jhu.edu for disability accommodations.
