Description

Join Savannah G. M. Wood, 2024–25 Tabb Center public humanities fellow, for a talk on her creative engagement with the Roland Park Co. records. Noticing the recurring presence of trees in deeds, marketing materials, and imagery, Wood will examine how they serve to mark boundaries while also suggesting expansiveness in both imagined and lived conceptions of place. In a conversation moderated by Joseph Plaster, director of the Winston Tabb Special Collections Research Center and curator in public humanities, Wood will discuss her creative process and reflect on the role of the arts and public humanities in reimagining historical interpretation.
