In the first session of this two-part workshop, the presenters will orient you to Hopkins AI Lab, a generative artificial intelligence (AI) platform that provides secure, JHRD-authenticated access to multiple large language models (LLMs). By the end of Part I, you will understand how Hopkins AI Lab generates responses to user prompts, compare its features to other generative AI tools, and be ready to explore prompt-writing strategies in Part II of the workshop.

This workshop is designed for researchers and students working with data in any discipline. No prior experience with AI tools is required.
