October Chess Tournament

Description

The Chess Club is excited to host its October 2025 tournament. This will take the place of the club's usual meeting. No experience is necessary—all skill levels are welcome.

The tournament will follow a Swiss format with four to five rounds of 10+3 rapid games (10 minutes per player, with a three-second increment per move). There will also be two sections to help with having fairer pairings: an Open section and a section for players rated under ≈1400 online. The top two players in each section will get free one-month Gold-level chess.com memberships.
