Description

Seniors, recent graduates, and first-year graduate students: If you intend to apply for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship (GRFP), you are encouraged to attend two writing workshops offered by Jason Ludden of the University Writing Program, a specialist in science communication and fellowship application writing. The workshops will cover the two essays required for the GRFP application:

  • Research Proposal: Oct. 7 at 2 p.m.
  • Personal Statement: Oct. 9 at 10 a.m.

If you cannot join in person, you can attend virtually. Zoom links for the workshops are available on the National Fellowships Program's Canvas course for NSF GRFP applicants. Please email nfp@jhu.edu with your Johns Hopkins email address for access.

NFP's Canvas course also provides key resources and an assignment where you can submit a draft of your personal statement for feedback from a fellowships adviser if received by Oct. 16.
