Music at Evergreen: Brian Ganz, Piano

Description
Evergreen Museum & Library's popular and eclectic Music at Evergreen Concert Series kicks off its 72nd season with a performance by pianist Brian Ganz. Ganz—widely regarded as one of the leading pianists of his generation and a former faculty member at Peabody Conservatory—will play a program of six pieces by Chopin as well as Beethoven's "Appassionata." He will perform on Evergreen's newly conserved 1936 Steinway Model B piano, which was owned by Alice Warder Garrett. The concert will be followed by a meet-and-greet reception with the performer.
