MS in Applied Economics

Description

Join Prakash Loungani, director of the MS in Applied Economics program, for a discussion on how well the U.S. Federal Reserve has done this year. Does it deserve an A for achieving a "soft landing" (keeping inflation in check without a recession) or an F for failing to cut interest rates in a timely fashion?"

He is a trusted adviser to policymakers and an influential source of economic analysis for businesses, journalists, and the public. Zandi earned his Bachelor of Science from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania.
