College Access Day is August 9
Description
JHU faculty and staff who have teenagers in middle school or high school are invited to College Access Day on Saturday, August 9, from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Turner Concourse in East Baltimore.
At this event, you'll be able to talk with representatives from local colleges and universities, and join breakout sessions to learn about:
- Taking the SAT and ACT
- Applying to college, writing a college essay, and why grades matter
- Scholarships, financial aid and FAFSA
- Tuition Grant for JHU employees that pays for half of your dependent's full-time, undergraduate tuition at an accredited institution, up to $33,335 each academic year
This event is produced in partnership with CollegeBound, a trusted college access advocate that provides advising, financial guidance, scholarships and other resources to help your child go to college.

Registration is required
Space is limited, so registration is required. RSVP now to save your spot and set your teenager up for success in college. Check in begins at 7:45 am.
