Description

The Beckman Young Investigator Program provides research support to promising faculty members in the early stages of their academic careers in the chemical and life sciences. In particular, they seek to foster the invention of methods, instruments, and materials that will open up new avenues of research in science. Grants range up to $600,000 ($150,000 annually) over the term of the project.

This webinar will review the program process, highlight application eligibility and requirements, and provide recommendations based on prior awardees. The event will be joined by 1999 awardee Doug Barrick, professor and chair in biophysics, and 2023 awardee Yayuan Liu, Russell Croft faculty scholar and assistant professor of chemical and bimolecular engineering.

This event is hosted by the Office of Foundation Relations.
