Advocacy Action Lab

Description
In this comprehensive, multi-modal workshop hosted by the Lerner Center for Public Health Advocacy, public health faculty and staff will learn fundamental advocacy skills, workshop specific policy issues, and gain real-world insights on how to achieve public health goals.
Participants will build upon their own scholarly work to identify potential advocacy opportunities and develop an action plan. Workshop activities include action-planning sessions, expert presentations and panels, and networking opportunities.
Attendees who are employees at Johns Hopkins Medicine or Johns Hopkins University may be able to use tuition remission to cover the cost, pending eligibility. Partial scholarships are available.
