Led by Brian Meltzer, a partner at Saul Ewing, this session will delve into various types of investments including preferred stock, convertible promissory notes, Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE), common stock, and Keep It Simple Security (KISS). He will also discuss term sheets and the crucial role of law firms in the formation of startup companies, particularly in angel and VC raises.
