Description
Join the Johns Hopkins Below the Belt Stride and Thrive 5K on National Cancer Survivors Day. This special event supports the Kelly Gynecologic Oncology Service, helping to advance gynecologic cancer research, education, and patient programs.
This year's race will take place at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, where participants can run or walk through a 5K or 1-mile tour throughout the animal zoo exhibits. Registration includes entry to the zoo, a T-shirt, and access to the event village with vendor tents, and family-friendly activities. Top finishers and fundraisers will receive special awards and will be announced during the onstage program.
Special guest speakers include:
- Redonda Miller, president, The Johns Hopkins Hospital
- Andrew Satin, director and professor, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine
- Rebecca Stone, director, The Kelly Gynecologic Oncology Service, and associate professor, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine
