Joanna Cohen, director of the Institute for Global Tobacco Control (IGTC) at Johns Hopkins, will give a talk titled "Breaking the Illusion: Building the Scientific Case for Plain and Standardized Packaging for All Tobacco Products" as part of the IGTC's monthly Innovations in Tobacco Control lecture series.
This month's lecture is in conjunction with World No Tobacco Day and its 2025 theme, "Unmasking the Appeal." The series welcomes key researchers and experts to share ideas, present their work, and spark discussion.
The lecture will be followed by a brief moderated Q&A and a recording of the event will subsequently be posted to IGTC's YouTube channel.
