Description

Based on thoughtful feedback from the community and in the spirit of inclusion and accessibility, the annual spring meeting between the Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) and President Ronald J. Daniels, Provost Ray Jayawardhana, and members of the President's Cabinet is changing to a hybrid meeting (in person and via Zoom).

This change is especially in response to feedback from those who rely on remote access due to disability, distance, or work modality. The hybrid format gives every member of the Johns Hopkins community—whether based in Maryland or beyond—the opportunity to listen, engage, and participate fully in this meaningful and timely dialogue. BFSA's goal remains to foster open and transparent communication in a space that feels welcoming, safe, and connected for all.

Submit your questions anonymously in advance.

Alicia Wilson, inaugural vice president for civic engagement and opportunity, will moderate the meeting. All employees, faculty, staff, students, and members of the Johns Hopkins community, including those at Johns Hopkins University, Johns Hopkins Medicine, Johns Hopkins Health System, Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, and the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory—including those who are primarily remote—are invited to be part of this important conversation with leadership. Your voice and presence matter deeply.

Food will be provided for in-person attendees.
