Description

Johns Hopkins hosts Liberty in an NCAA tournament first-round game.

The Blue Jays (12-6) earned an at-large bid to the tournament for the seventh straight year and 13th overall. This is the second time—and first since 2007—that Hopkins earned a top-eight seed in the tournament.

Liberty (12-7) received an automatic bid as winners of the Atlantic Sun Conference. This will be the first-ever meeting between the Blue Jays and the Flames.

The winner will advance to Sunday's second-round game to face the winner of a game between Princeton (14-3) and UMass (15-3).

earned the number eight seed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament and will host the first and second rounds for the first time since the program moved to Division I in 1999.

The Blue Jays were seeded seventh that year but were unable to host due to commencement. JHU faced 10 teams this season that made the 29-team field, including a pair of top-eight seeds.
