Join staff from the Gender-Based Violence Prevention Team and the Office of Institutional Equity at Johns Hopkins for a Denim Day panel discussion to learn about your rights, the reporting process, and available support for gender-based violence (GBV). This event is designed to help international students better understand protections and resources available to them, but it is open to everyone. Dinner will be provided.

Topics covered:

  • What is GBV? Defining stalking, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and intimate partner violence.
  • Understanding Title IX: How it applies to students and the protections it offers.
  • Reporting process: Steps for reporting incidents and what to expect.
  • Accessing support: Campus and community resources available to students.
  • U/T visas: Potential options for international students impacted by GBV.
