A Day of Well-Being
Take time for self-care and fun at an event on the Homewood campus
Description
A Day of Well-Being is a wellness fair for JHU faculty and staff, full of activities and opportunities to learn about healthy habits and the JHU Well-Being Program. Speak with experts in physical, mental, emotional, social, financial, and environmental well-being, including representatives from Burnalong, the Marsh McLennan Agency, the Johns Hopkins Employee Assistance Program, Well-Being, Sustainability, and more.
Self-paced activities include mindful coloring of a mandala, making your own heating pad, and working on a positive affirmation mural. Seminars and fitness classes will showcase well-being resources.
A cooking demonstration hosted by a registered dietitian will enable you to learn about the benefits of super foods and how to incorporate them in your daily diet. And you can have a seated massage and visit vendor tables to talk with resource experts one-on-one.
Check out the event schedule to plan your timing and ensure you can participate in your preferred activities.
This is the event on April 14 on the Homewood campus. There are also Days of Well-Being on April 7 and April 8 on the East Baltimore and DC campuses, respectively.
