Geocoding in ArcGIS Online & ArcGIS Pro

Description

This Johns Hopkins Data Services workshop will be hands-on using ArcGIS Online, but students will also be provided with directions on how to geocode using ArcGIS Pro. Students will learn the concepts required to perform geocoding along with tips and suggestions for preparing data for use within ArcGIS. Common file formats will be discussed, (e.g., Excel,.csv), along with text files and data with x, y coordinates. Prior experience with ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Pro will help a student navigate the interface but is not required.
