Description

Join Sheridan Libraries Special Collections in culminating the Gertrude Stein in Circles: Spheres of Life and Writing exhibition with a closing event featuring a concert of works by French composers Germaine Tailleferre and Louise Farrenc and an illustrated talk that will focus on the relationships that shaped Stein's work and life. These include her family, the teachers who influenced her education as a scientist, the artists she befriended in Paris, her literary comrades and rivals, and her wife and ally Alice B. Toklas.
