Description
Join Dr. Leila Brammer, SNF Agora Visiting Fellow and Director of Outreach and Instructional Development for the University of Chicago's Parrhesia Program for Public Discourse, for February's SNF Agora Academy Workshop.
This workshop explores classroom practices that foster robust academic inquiry and sustain and promote connected, resilient, and responsive communities. The session provides easily adaptable strategies to prepare students in the classroom and beyond to seek and constructively engage differences and disagreements. By focusing on principles and practices for inclusive and productive discussions, this session highlights the limitations of common approaches and introduces adaptable models to deepen class discussions and enhance academic inquiry.
